Bicyclist struck by car, rushed to hospital in Elkhart

A bicyclist was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a car.

It happened just before 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 25, in the area of East Bristol Street and Baldwin Court in Elkhart.

Elkhart Police say the bicyclist was turning off Baldwin and pulled in front of a Ford Taurus on Bristol.

The man, who is said to be in his early 50s, was last listed in critical condition.

The driver of the Taurus is cooperating with officers.
