Indiana congressional delegation concerned about heating costs

Energy costs are on the rise in Indiana, and U.S. Representatives Jackie Walorski, Jim Banks and Greg Pence led the charge Thursday as GOP members of the state’s delegation urged the president to take action.

Congresswoman Walorski says she is concerned about an energy crisis this winter as propane prices rise. She says recent moves by the Biden administration have impacted US production of gas and oil and are amplifying the economic pinch felt by Hoosiers.

The delegation’s letter to the Biden White House points out that Energy estimates suggest skyrocketing prices that could cause Midwesterners to spend more than $1,800 dollars to heat their homes this winter.

Wow, that 5.9 % increase in SSA will certainly come in handy this year.

At least you get a raise for COLA. Lots of employers don’t bother, the only option is to leave.

Of course leaving is not an option for you, so we are probably even.

Good luck! We’ll all need it with Brandon in charge…
