A fight at a KFC drive-thru results in one man being injured over the weekend.

Elkhart police were called out to the 1900 block of Cassopolis Street around 7:00 p.m. for reports of a battery.

There the victim said while in line, he saw a Ford-500 drive in front of his vehicle, prompting the victim to get out and confront the female driver of the Ford.

This resulted in a verbal argument with her.

Eventually the victim said he retreated back to his vehicle, when about 10 minutes later, a man came up to his passenger side door. The man started pounding on the window.

The victim got out of his vehicle when the male walked around and confronted him. According to ABC-57, the suspect allegedly grabbed the victim, threw him to the ground before hitting him in his face. The suspect then left the scene.

The victim was treated for injuries to his face and shoulder. So far there is no word on any suspects or arrests.
