Suspect arrested in connection to armed robberies at Marcellus gas stations

A suspect has been arrested, in connection to armed robberies that happened within minutes of each other at two different gas stations in Marcellus.

The robberies happened around 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16.

One of the heists happened at the Shell gas station at the corner of Main and Burney Streets.

A second armed robbery call came in from the Mega Liquor Gas Station down the road on Main Street at 5:50 p.m.

In both robberies, the suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, according to reports.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office identified a suspect and took that person into custody.
