St. Joseph Co. Michigan sees large surge in COVID cases

COVID numbers in St. Joseph County, Michigan are up 64.5%. That’s part of a statewide surge of 65.4% last week with more than 61,000 cases reported.

Michigan ranked first last week among the states where the coronavirus was spreading fastest on a per-person basis. Many health experts are calling this the state’s 4th wave.

Nationwide the numbers were up 15.5% from the year before.

St. Joseph County, Michigan reported 408 cases last week, and six deaths.
