Man shot dead in Benton Harbor, person of interest being sought

Just before 2:00 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 22, officers with the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety responded to the 600 block of Highland Avenue for an investigation of a shooting.

Officers responded and found a 33-year-old man wounded by gunfire.

The male was transported to Lakeland Hospital where he passed away. An autopsy is scheduled to take place.

BHDPS is seeking a person of interest in this matter, Ricky Lorenzo Bridgeman 35, in relation to this homicide.
