Spectrum Health Lakeland began construction on a new medical campus on South 11th St. in Niles.

The 22,000 square-foot facility will house counseling, pediatric, family medicine and walk-in-clinic services through Southwestern Medical Clinic.

Other services will be offered through Spectrum Health Lakeland Ear, Nose and Throat.

When this new campus is complete, providers from both agencies will relocate from their current locations to the new campus.

ABC 57 News reports the $7.8 million project is expected to be complete by late next year.
