The South Bend Police Violent Crimes Unit continues to investigate what led to a shooting on Tuesday, Nov. 23, that left one person in critical condition.

Police were called around 5:30 p.m. to the 500 block of Birdsell Street.

One person was taken to the hospital for treatment.

There was no immediate word about any possible suspects.
