Lincoln Township Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle they say may be connected to a man who attempted to meet up a 16-year-old girl he communicated with on Snapchat.

The investigation began when Lakeshore High School administrators called police, Monday morning, about a missing 16-year-old student.

Police learned the teen had gotten off the bus, but instead of going to school, went to a grocery store parking lot and got into a vehicle.

The girl was found walking on a road in Benton Township about an hour later. ABC 57 News reports the teen said the man, identified as “Carlitos” on Snapchat, did not harm or touch her, but police want to find him.

Anybody with information should contact Lincoln Township Police.
