Health Officials in Michigan reported a drop in COVID hospital patients Wednesday.

It’s the first dip in the numbers for Michigan since October 27th. All of the regions in the state reported the drop in hospital patients for COVID, giving health leaders some hope that the worst of the fourth COVID wave in the state might be over.

Hospitals have been overcrowded since the wave began.

The rates of new infections and positive tests are also starting to drop, but there have been three cases of the omicron variant identified in the state so far.
