Three area siblings crowned champions of NBC’s “The Voice”

UPDATE: Major honors for the South Bend-based group Girl Named Tom. The brother-sister trio was crowned winners on NBC’s “The Voice” on Tuesday, Dec. 14. Originally from Ohio, they moved to South Bend last year. The two brothers, Caleb and Joshua, recently graduated from Goshen College. Their sister, Bekah, has been accepted to attend, as well. They’re the first trio to win and also Coach Kelly Clarkson’s fourth victory on the show.

ORIGINAL STORY: Three siblings from South Bend are trying to be crowned the champion of “The Voice” on NBC.

Caleb, Joshua and Bekah make up the band called “Girl Named Tom,” and they’re one of the finalists this season. The grew up in Ohio and moved to South Bend last year.

Caleb and Joshua graduated from Goshen College. Bekah has been accepted to attend Goshen College.

The group is on Team Kelly Clarkson. If they win, they’d be the first trio to go all the way on the program.

Tuesday, Dec. 14, is the second night of the two-episode finale.
