A Berrien County Farmer and five other volunteers are headed to Kentucky to assist with the tornado relief.
The man requested anonymity, according to WSJM, who report that he had planned to head down with two 30-foot trucks loaded with supplies on Thursday. The trucks were laden with about 1,000 pounds of meat, refrigerators, stoves, and tools. They planned on setting up in a parking lot in the Hopkins County area and serving meals to responders and residents.
They planned on consulting with Farm Bureaus in Kentucky along the way and had hoped to be set up and ready to go Friday morning.
