Two people shot at Red Roof Inn on Cassopolis Street in Elkhart

Two people were shot at the Red Roof Inn in Elkhart.

Officers with the Elkhart Police Department were called around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, to the hotel in the 2900 block of Cassopolis Street where they  discovered a male and a female inside the Inn suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The two, who are both in their early 20’s, were taken to the hospital with apparent non life-threatening injuries.

Elkhart Police Department Detectives continue to actively investigate and there has been no suspect arrest as of Saturday morning.
