South Bend International Airport’s tenth annual Bears in the Air program will provide more than 2000 teddy bears to children in six area hospitals.

The bears will be delivered to Elkhart General Hospital, Saint Joseph Health System, Beacon Children’s Hospital, Spectrum Health Lakeland, Plymouth Medical Center, and A Rosie Place for Children on Dec. 20 and 21.

The Bears in the Air program has provided nearly 15,000 teddy bears to children in area hospitals in the last ten years.

Additionally, a cash donation to the Robert L. Miller, Sr. Veteran’s Center will take place in January.
