The parents of 11-month-old Mercedes Lain, who was found dead last summer, have accepted plea agreements.

The baby’s mother, Tiffany Coburn, accepted a plea agreement during a status conference Thursday and will have a hearing late in February regarding her plea agreement.

Kenneth Lain’s plea agreement was filed, last week, and a hearing took place Thursday to enter the agreement.

Both Coburn and Lain were each charged with one count of neglect of a dependent after Mercedes’ body was found, back in August, in Starke County.

The man they asked to watch over Mercedes, Justin Miller, pleaded guilty to the baby’s murder and was sentenced to 65 years in prison earlier this week.

Mom crying in the picture, I hope there was some one to cry for Mercedes except for that waste of human waste that gave birth to hear.
