Grace College to offer a curbside version of their tax assistance

We have become accustomed to getting a lot of things curbside, and now you can add your tax return to that list.

Grace College will be providing a free curbside tax return service. Beginning February 4th, the service is courtesy of Grace College’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, sponsored by the United way of Kosciusko County.

WSBT reports that the service, in it’s 13th year, provides free tax service preparation to elderly, disabled and lower-income individuals who need help filing a basic tax return. The curbside service will prioritize safety at the Manahan Orthopedic Center in Winona Lake.

Curbside will happen in the lower level parking lot of the Manahan Orthopedic Capital Center (MOCC), 610 Wooster Rd., Winona Lake, starting Friday, Feb. 4.

Volunteers, Grace College business students, professors and certified public accountants help make the service possible in Kosciusko County.

VITA appointments can be made via phone at (574) 372-5160, or email at vitataxes@grace.edu.

Appointments are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1-4 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
