Expansion of the Interurban Trolley in Goshen is not going to happen for a while.

It’s been nearly a year since an expansion was announced, but The Elkhart Truth reports difficulty in acquiring a new bus continues to delay those plans.

Last March, Goshen city leaders announced the second phase of a survey of route options being considered.

The options included adding two new routes, looping to the north and south, or shortening the Red Line to end in downtown Goshen and adding three new routes to the north, central and south sides.

The city still supports the expansion.

Read more about the expansion proposal from the original story published in The Elkhart Truth.
