Few details are known about the shooting at a Mishawaka trailer park

Investigators are saying a little more about what happened at a trailer park in Mishawaka that led to an officer firing his gun.

Mishawaka police had been called a couple of times about a man who was said to be threatening people with a gun at the Village Green Mobile Home Park.

They say the arrived and confronted Michael Haas at his trailer.

He came to the door and police say he started shooting at officers. Officer Garrett Schock returned fire. Haas was hit and he later died at the hospital.

South Bend police are reviewing body cam footage.
