Funeral information for Deputy Noah Rainey and Jail Deputy Dane Northcutt has been released.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Department says visitation for Deputy Rainey will be from 2 to 7 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, February 5th at Delphi Community High School.

That’s at 301 Armory Road in Delphi, Indiana. The funeral is the next day at 11 o’clock in the morning, also at Delphi Community High School.

After the funeral is over, Deputy Rainey will be taken to the IOOF Memorial Gardens in Delphi.

Jail Deputy Dane Northcutt’s visitation will be on Monday, February 7th at 11 o’clock in the morning, and will continue until the funeral begins at 1 o’clock that afternoon.

Military honors will take place at the Soller-Baker Funeral Home at 400 Twyckenham Boulevard in Lafayette, Indiana.

The sheriff’s department will release more info about procession routes later this week.

Indiana State Police say Deputy Rainey was on his way to help a Rossville deputy town marshal early Saturday morning. The deputy town marshal called for backup after a car they attempted to pull over failed to stop. Jail Deputy Northcutt was riding along with Deputy Rainey.

Northcutt was off duty.

Rainey was driving eastbound on State Road 26 near Washington Street when his patrol car went off road and hit a utility pole. Both men were dead when medics arrived.
