A car crashed into the St. Joseph River in Mishawaka on Saturday, Feb. 5.

When police arrived there was no one in or near the vehicle and cops were investigating why it happened.

The car crashed neat Miami Island, part of the river that’s frozen over.

The car was only partially submerged.
