Shots being fired brought Elkhart Police to Washington Gardens this past weekend.

Elkhart police officers were called around 5:15 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5, on the report of gunfire.

Police arrived to find shattered glass and spent shell casings in the 1300 block of Delaware Street.

There was no initial damage to apartments or vehicles reported.
