A man listed as a serious violent felon was arrested after allegedly making threats and for being in possession of guns.

St. Joseph County Police were called on Monday, Feb. 7, to a home on Beach Way where they talked to a woman and her cousin who said her live-in boyfriend, Frank Willis Sr., crashed her car and that, in the midst of an argument, Willis got a large gun and pointed it at the cousin, then chased him out of the home, threatening to kill him.

Officers obtained a search warrant for the home and, according to the police document, found an AR-15 inside an ottoman, an AK-47 under a mattress, a drum magazine and three regular magazines.

ABC 57 reports Willis was arrested on the charges of intimidation and unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
