We’re on the back end of winter, and before we know it spring will be in the air.

And with spring, comes baseball.

While the Major League teams continue a standoff that could potentially cancel their season, the Minor League teams are getting ready to take the field. Single game tickets for the South Bend Cubs, who have 66 home games at Four Winds Field, go on sale March 9. That’s six more home games than they had last season.

On Thursday the team announced their ticket prices and said the box office opens at noon on March 9.

Opening Day will be April 8 against the Quad Cities River Bandits.
