Food Bank of Northern Indiana releases distribution schedule for month of March

The Food Bank of Northern Indiana has released its distribution schedule for free boxes of food for the month of March.

The boxes are free and will be handed out on a first come, first served basis.

Organizers say it will be a drive-thru distribution and ask that you remain in your vehicle. You can simply pop your trunk to receive your items. If you’re trunk won’t open, they have an area available to load your items.

The full distribution schedule for the month of March:

Wednesday, March 2, 2022 – Elkhart County
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. ET *While supplies last.
WHERE: Shepherd’s Cove, 1010 E. Mishawaka Rd., Elkhart, IN 46517
*This distribution will serve 200 households.

Wednesday, March 9, 2022 – St. Joseph County
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. ET *While supplies last.
WHERE: Ozark’s Pawn Parking Lot, 1006 S. Merrifield Ave., Mishawaka, IN 46544
*This distribution will serve 250 households.

Thursday, March 10, 2022 – LaPorte County
10 a.m. – Noon CT *While supplies last.
WHERE: First Church of God, 2020 E. Lincolnway, LaPorte, IN 46350
*This distribution will serve 200 households.

Friday, March 11, 2022 – Kosciusko County
10 a.m. – Noon ET *While supplies last.
WHERE: First Baptist Church, 2819 Patterson Rd., Warsaw, IN 46582
*This distribution will serve 200 households.

Wednesday, March 16, 2022 – Starke County
10 a.m. – Noon CT *While supplies last.
WHERE: Knox United Methodist Church, 201 Shield St., Knox, IN 46534
*This distribution will serve 200 households.

Monday, March 21, 2022 – Marshall County
10 a.m. – Noon ET *While supplies last.
WHERE: Plymouth Parks Department, 1600 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, IN 46563
*This distribution will serve 150 households.
