National COVID convoy visits Indiana

The national COVID protest convoy that’s headed from California to Washington DC stopped in Monrovia, Indiana on wednesday and held a rally.

The group calls itself “The People’s Convoy” and models itself after the recent protests in Canada. They seek to convince President Biden to end the national COVID-19 emergency.

They say they won’t enter Washington DC, but the Capitol is preparing security measures just the same.

Indiana State Police Troopers estimate 280 vehicles made their way through the western part of the state on Tuesday, with 100 of them being semis.
