Woman drives to South Bend Police Department after being shot

A woman drove herself to the South Bend Police Department after being shot.

The shooting happened around 12:40 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, near the intersection Walnut Street and Fisher Street.

The woman was taken to the hospital and is recovering, according to ABC 57.

The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crime Unit is conducting an investigation.
