Millersburg woman charged in connection with son’s death after crash

A Millersburg woman has been charged with causing a death while operating a motor vehicle with a controlled substance in her blood in connection to a crash, late last year, that killed her son.

It wasin December of 2021 that Krista Partlow, 33, was driving along County Road 42 when police say she failed to stop at the stop sign at State Road 19 and crashed into a semi.

The Elkhart Truth reports officers arrived to find her vehicle partially under the semi’s trailer.

Partlow and the child, 10-year-old Noah Murray, were extricated.

Murray died due to his injuries.

Partlow submitted to a certified chemical test that investigators say showed evidence of THC.
