The U.S. Postal Service is looking for workers in the Elkhart area.

The Post Office is hosting a job application workshop to fill immediate openings for City Carrier Assistants at $18.51 an hour and rural carrier associates and assistant rural carriers at $19.06 an hour.

The workshop is set for 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, at the Elkhart Main Post Office at 601 S Main Street in Elkhart.

USPS personnel will be on site to provide detailed information about the positions, answer questions. Laptop computers will be available to assist attendees, or they are encouraged to bring their own laptops. Applications are accepted online only at www.usps.com/careers.

Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays and have an acceptable driving record for certain positions.
