Time is running out for Michigan businesses to apply for Growing MI Business Grants.

Businesses that were operating before October 1 2019 can apply for up to $5 million. Those who began operations between that date and May 31 2020 can get a grant equal to 25% percent of certain specified costs, according to ABC 57.

The State of Michigan will distribute up to $409 million of its American Rescue Plan Act funds to assist businesses impacted by the pandemic.

The deadline to file is Thursday, March 31.
