Gainbridge Fieldhouse has apologized to fans who were unable to see Elton John in concert, WISH TV reports.

Elton John’s final tour, Farewell Yellow Brick Road, was supposed to come to Indianapolis in 2019. After getting rescheduled three times, the concert finally happened on Friday, April 1st.

Since the concert was first scheduled, Gainbridge Fieldhouse has changed in more than just name. Inside, much of the seating has also changed. These changes impacted many fans’ original tickets.

So, on Friday night, fans who had purchased tickets in anticipation of the concert faced many challenges. Many fans had to move seats at the last minute. Some were late getting inside. Some were ultimately unable to see Elton John perform at all.

The Fieldhouse released an official statement in which it apologized and asked ticket holders to contact their vendors, or email the Fieldhouse box office.
