If you drive on Greenleaf Boulevard in Elkhart, you likely have noticed some new stop signs.

City crews have installed three new 3-way stop signs at the intersection with Osolo, Broadmoor and Bay.

The signs come, after a safety study with the purpose of slowing down traffic along Greenleaf.

Is this the same kind of “safety study” that thought narrow two lane roads were safer on Jackson, Benham, and South Main streets?

The people planning these debacles need to be reigned in before they do more damage to the city’s traffic flow.

I disagree I live on Greenleaf people drive like maniacs. Even after the teenage boy was killed. Something was needed or another death was sure to happen. That being said Jackson is a nightmare and was poorly done.
