Saint Mary’s college receives Kessler Scholars grant

Saint Mary’s college has received a five-year one-million dollar Kessler Scholars grant for first generation students.

The Kessler Scholars Collaborative currently helps sixteen different colleges and universities, including Cornell, Johns Hopkins, and Syracuse.

Founded in 2008, at the University of Michigan, the collaborative gives financial support to students, in a group form.

According to the Notre Dame Observer, the first group at Saint Mary’s will come to campus in fall of 2023.
