Republicans and Democrats in Congress now have one more thing in common, as Russia has announced 398 members of Congress are being sanctioned, including all nine Indiana representatives.

The sanctions are in response to U.S. sanctions against members of Russia’s legislature.

The individuals, including leadership and committee chairmen of the lower house of the U.S. Congress have been placed on the Russian ‘stop list’ on a permanent basis.

The list includes Republicans Jim Banks and Jackie Walorski who issued a statement calling Vladimir Putin a monstrous tyrant and a vicious war criminal.

She said she’d wear Russia’s sanctions as a badge of honor and will always stand up for freedom and the truth.
