Mishawaka man arrested after motorcycle pursuit, foot chase in Goshen

A Mishawaka man was arrested after Goshen Police say he led them on a chase and a foot pursuit.

It happened just before 3 a.m. on Sunday, April 24, when officers tried to conduct a traffic stop on Scottie Christian, 24, after they say he twice circled four lanes of traffic on his motorcycle in the 1500 block of Elkhart Road.

After Christian left his motorcycle and took off on foot, officials caught up with him.

His breath test registered .098, according to the Goshen Police Department.

He was taken to the Elkhart County Jail on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, resisting law enforcement- fleeing on foot, and Operating while intoxicated.
