The Music Village offering variety of summer programs for children

The Music Village is offering a variety of summer programs for community youth and people of all ages.

Programs include cultural exploration, Digital Creativity, Percussion & Drumming, and Children’s Music, with workshops and classes in traditional Irish music and dance, musical theater, drumming, the Blues, songwriting, and BeatLab, which is a creative beat-creation program for kids.

The Music Village will also offer its popular Rock School 101 class for ages 7-to-16, and Girl’s Rock camp, for girls entering grades 3-through-8. Most of the programs will take place during two, six-week sessions. Workshops and classes will run from May 31 through Sep. 4.
