First free fishing day in Indiana is set for Sunday

The first free Fishing Day in Indiana is Sunday, May 1.

Anglers can also enjoy free fishing on June 4 and 5, and on Sep. 24.

Indiana residents do not need a fishing license or a trout stamp to fish in public waters on these days.

Free Fishing Days are a great opportunity to give fishing a try or share fishing with a friend or family member.
