The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana is requiring a Martinsville middle school to provide equal treatment to a transgender student who was being denied access to the boy’s restroom.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana and Indiana Legal Services filed a lawsuit against the Metropolitan School District of Martinsville in December 2021, on behalf of a transgender boy in 7th grade at John R. Wooden Middle School.

“The law is clear: denying transgender students their right to use the correct restroom is discrimination,” said Stevie Pactor, ACLU of Indiana Attorney. “We hope that public schools and legislators will take notice and forgo future challenges by providing equal treatment to all students.”

Lawyers argue that denying transgender students access to the same opportunities as their peers violates both the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution and Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972.

The order issued by U.S. District Court Chief Judge Tanya Walton Pratt will require the middle school to allow the student access to the correct restroom, while litigation continues.

Use the bathroom that corresponds with your DNA. Either you have an X chromosome, or a Y chromosome. It’s as simple as that, since does not lie.

Two simple questions come to mind.
1- Does this “boy” intend to use the urinals as the other boys do?
2- Wouldn’t resources be better spent helping this girl improve her mental health and understanding of self?

How does the supposed right of a single individual, over ride the rights of everyone else. ACLU is just another example of a group of bullies. And the people who run it get rich, while pushing bias agendas. And for the judge, shame on you. Supporting what in this case is just wrong.

So are we going to have to provide bathrooms for each of the 64 genders the left has invented?

XX and XY don’t lie.
