Three Rivers man, 77, killed in crash on M-60 in Newberg Township

A Three Rivers man was killed in a crash on M-60 in Newberg Township.

The collision happened around 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, near Timberline Drive, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators say Wayne Wyman, 77, left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.

Wyman was ejected from the vehicle and died due to his injuries at the scene.

Wyman’s wife, who was a passenger in the car, was transported to Three Rivers Hospital for treatment.

Wyman was not wearing a seatbelt, though his wife was buckled up, the sheriff’s office reported.

Factors into the crash remain under investigation.
