Bicyclist arrested for not stopping for police

A bicyclist was arrested for not stopping when police tried to pull him over.

It happened early Sunday morning when an officer was driving on Marion Street in Elkhart, where he says he saw a bicyclist riding without headlights.

The officer attempted to pull over the rider, 36-year-old Sean Sparks.

ABC 57 News reports that the officer turned on his emergency lights and yelled at Sparks, to get him to stop.

When Sparks did eventually stop, he was taken into custody on a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement.

I am sorry but since when is it a crime to ride your bike without headlights? Honestly I am not being a smartass here, I have never heard of this. If a cop pulls his lights on you a person should stop but this one is new to me.
