The Indiana State Police are now investigating allegations connected to the New Life Christian Church in Warsaw.
Originally, the Kosciusko County sheriff’s department was handling the case, but in a news release Wednesday, Indiana State Police confirmed that they have taken over the investigation. It’s said that the sheriff’s department had a conflict of interest and could go no further with the case.
Still, the sheriff’s office says they are helping however they can.
Former Pastor John Lowe II admitted to adultery during a Sunday service, nearly two weeks ago.
The woman Lowe had the affair with says she was 16 when he groomed her for sex.
Some members of the New Life congregations are demanding that not only Lowe be brought up on charges, but that the church also be shuttered.
Anybody with information as a witness or a victim is asked to contact the Indiana State Police Bremen Post Criminal Investigations Division at 574-546-4900.

For those members who demand this man be brought up on charges….if investigation substantiates this, is the right thing. But more important, they are protecting THE CHURCH by wanting to shut it down, rather than become “that church that…..”.
“Pastor” John Lowe should be arrested, tried, and sent to prison for the rest of his life after taking this girl’s innocence and wrecking her life. He is human garbage. He should be thoroughly investigated as there are probably many more victims in his past. For the most part, that “christian” congregation didn’t give a damn about that girl. How reprehensible.
