Two people are facing charges in the suspicious death of a child in St. Joseph.

The charges follow an investigation by the St. Joseph Department of Public Safety, in connection with the death of an 8 year-old last month. Officers responded to the 700 block of Columbia Avenue on May 3rd and found the child was deceased.

41 year-old Brian Morrow and 34 year-old Mia Morrow have been charged with Felony Murder, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of the drug DMT.

The next pre-exam conference for the pair has been set for June 10th, with a preliminary examination on June 16th.
