A man in his mid-60s has died after a hit-and-run crash on State Road 933 in St. Joseph County.

Police say the crash happened around 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Oct. 20, in front of Birch Hill Suites. The man was taken to a hospital with severe injuries and later died.

The vehicle involved left the scene. The St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team is investigating. Police have not released the victim’s name.
