A man has been arrested after he allegedly stole a vehicle from a woman who was sleeping inside of it.

It happened at 3:50 a.m. on May 29.

South Bend police were called on reports of a car jacking, near a bar on Niles Avenue.

The victims told police that she decided to sleep in her car, since she had been drinking.

She says that she woke up to three men pulling her out of the vehicle and then driving away.

ABC 57 News reports that at around 5:20 that evening, the car was found in a parking lot, with the suspect, Sean Carter Harris, in the drivers seat.

Officials say that Harris admitted to stealing the car.
