Berrien Springs man arrested in connection to gas station drive-by shooting

A Berrien Springs man was arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting at a Speedway gas station.

The shooting happened around 3 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, in the parking lot of the gas station on North Cass Street.

Officers arrived to find a male employee with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Eyewitnesses told police that several people were in the parking lot arguing when a vehicle drove by and fired multiple shots from a rifle.

The employee who was struck was taken to to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Later in the day, officers arrested the suspect, Ethan Hoge, 22, of Berrien Springs, in connection to the shooting.
