Vegetable Buddies in downtown South Bend will close its doors in mid-July for a final time.

The bar and live music venue has lit the stage for hundreds of artists of all different kinds of musical genres for the past six years.

According to a post on social media, it’s owner stated it’s now time to move on. The owner also thanked it’s patrons for their support.

A blowout bash with several local musicians is set for July 15th and a reggae party is on the calendar for their final date on July 16th.
