Toddler dies after being pulled from water at Big Long Lake

A 22-month-old boy died after an apparent drowning at Big Long Lake in LaGrange County.

DNR Officers were called, around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, to the 5900 block of South 1000 East on Big Long Lake.

The child was not responsive when emergency personnel arrived. Life-saving efforts were performed on-scene. The toddler, however, died late Sunday evening.
