Forever stamps will cost a few more cents on Sunday.
As the Postal Service works to become self-sufficient, postage rates are likely to increase over the next few years to “uncomfortable” prices.
The U.S. Postal Service will raise the price of a First-Class Forever stamp from 58 cents to 60 cents. The price of a Forever stamp went up a little less than a year ago, jumping from 55 to 58 cents.
The catch though is that these stamps will never expire and are always valid. Even if the First-Class postage rate goes up, the stamps you buy through Saturday at 58 cents can be used forever.
