South Shore Line free rides for educators

The South Shore Line is celebrating teachers with free rides.

Educators can take free rides from Monday, July 18 through Sunday, July24.

It’s for all off-peak weekday and weekend trains.

In order to take a ride, teachers will need a valid school ID.

The South Shore Line also had a kids ride free program, where a children 13 and younger can ride with a parent or guardian.

Construction is still ongoing for the Double Track project, which means passenger buses are still used between Dune Park and Carroll Avenue.
