Spectrum Health Lakeland receives award from American Heart Association

Spectrum Health Lakeland has received an award from the American Heart Association.

It’s their ninth consecutive year winning the “Gold Plus Get With the Guidelines Stroke Quality Achievement Award,” which recognizes their care and treatment of stroke patients.

They were also awarded for their diabetic care, especially helping those with type 2 diabetes.

They say that their treatment procedures have saved lives and reduced disability.
