A South Bend man has been sentenced to nine years in prison after pleading guilty to receipt of child pornography.

Timothy Humphries, 40, was also sentenced to 5 years of supervised release and ordered to pay a $6,000 fee.

Court documents say Humphries created fake social media accounts, posing as a teenage girl, to chat with young girls and that he convinced a minor to send pictures of herself that were considered child porn.
